Student Council

We are delighted to have our first student council in Hewetson NS. Our student is made up of a boy and girl from each class. The aim of our student council is to work with the teachers to help them plan future events and discuss ways in which we can improve the school together.  Mrs. Elliott is working with the student council.

The Student Council members from 5th and 6th class have been helping organise and create the new library.

The first job the student council had was to decide on the Halloween movies for the school. They chose one movie for the junior classes and a different one for the senior classes. They then made goodie bags and handed these out at the movie . Everyone had a brilliant night. The money raised will go towards new playground equipment.
