In September we all settled into school.
At Irish we focused on Mé Féin. In Maths we did place value, roman numerals, addition and subtraction, multiplication and lines and angles.
For Geography, we learned places names, cities, mountains, and counties of Ireland. For History, we did St Brendan and the Celts. In Science we learned about food pyramid, the digestive system and fats and starches in food.
We all started guitar lessons with Music Generation and Gaelic football with Brian from Clane GAA.
We have been reading and really enjoying Holes by Louis Sacher.
In Art we did self-portraits, leaf art, night and day city-scapes, owls, and stained-glass effect art. We also designed the letters of our names.
We got really nice new sports equipment and are having lots of fun with that.
Now we are getting ready for our bake sale after midterm break.
