Welcome to 5th and 6th Class

Students in 5th and 6th can look forward to two years jam packed with learning and activities as they get ready for secondary school.
The following is an outline of some of the educational activities we undertake during the year:

5th/6th enjoyed a very interesting trip to the Dáil. We had a guided tour of Leinster House and heard its history, observed Dáil business, saw some TDs, visited The Senad - Hewetson School even got a mention on Oireachtas TV!
Afterwards we visited The National Gallery to see paintings by Irish artists.
We have been learning about the human skeleton and made skeleton posters for the classroom.
Today we ran our Halloween Bake Sale which was a great success.
